Disabled Access Information

Access:

Tribfest is held on the Sledmere House Grounds, the land is mostly grass farm land which is uneven and the main arena is on a natural slope down towards the main stage. Please bear this is mind when booking your tickets.

If you would like to camp in the disabled area which is located very close to the Main Arena entrance (so please be aware of the noise levels) then you must email info@edentertainments.co.uk requesting a space.

Carer:

If you would like to use the facilities we are providing for disabled customers and require a carer to attend then we are able to supply you with a half price ticket for your carer. All you need to do is purchase your weekend ticket for the disabled guest and then email info@edentertainments.co.uk with your order number and proof of disability. We will then send you the link for the discounted ticket.

As we want to be sure the facilities we provide are not abused and all applicants are genuine. It is essential for us to understand the nature of your disability.

Please provide a copy of a letter from the DLA, blue badge details and a letter from your GP outlining your details and confirming the needs of your requirements.

Once we have received all relevant documents relating to your application and reviewed it we will then organise your discounted carer ticket with you.

Registration forms cannot be submitted on the day. The cut off time for applications is four weeks before the festival date.

Parking:

There will be designated disabled parking in the main car park, as close to the entrance as possible. The distance to the disabled camping is about 400 metres on a slight incline. Please note you will have to have a registered Disability Parking Car Pass displayed in your vehicle at all times.

Camping Facilities

The designated camping area is located <100 metres from the main entrance. There will be accessible designated toilets in this area and it is located very near to event control and the medical tent. If you are a blue badge holder you will be able to drive to your pitch but once you have emptied your load you must return your car to the car park.

Wheelchair Access:

Please note that due to the terrain of the venue some areas may not be easy to navigate. The weather can have adverse effects on the ground so plan ahead to make all the necessary adjustments and bring all the equipment that you may need.

Assistance Dogs:

We welcome assistance dogs onto the site, please inform us if you plan on bringing your assistance dog. No other dogs are allowed on site this is a condition of our Public Entertainment Licence.

Strobe Lighting:

Strobe Lighting will be used throughout the festival intermittently and there will be no warnings immediately before a period of strobe lighting.

Medical Services:

There will be a First Aid tent located in the Main Arena that will be situated near Event Control and the arena entrance. You will be able to store medication with the medical team if refrigeration is needed. Please let us know in advance if you will be wishing to store medication here.

Please note:

The above facilities are only available to festival goers with permanent disabilities, so broken legs, recent injuries, recent operations, elderly and pregnant women do not qualify.

Due to limited space we can only provide one pitch per disabled camper and carer. Once applications have closed, 4 weeks prior to the event, carers will have to pay full price and disabled campers may have to camp in the general campsite.

We try our best to make sure Tribfest is as accommodating for people with disabilities as possible. Please get in touch with us if you think that we could improve anything on info@edentertainments.co.uk
